  3. WHAT IS IT
  4. While pLayer and AppBar can run without patching any traps, GNEFilter is not as robust as it should be, nor is there a good way for multiple apps using GNEFilter to arbitrate themselves.  This INIT, which both pLayer and AppBar can take advantage of, increases the robustness and makes things clean.

While the copyright is owned by CE Software, this is a private, non-commercial project of Donald Brown.  You may freely copy the program and use it.  It may be uploaded to BBSes and included in software library exchange disks, provided this file is copied along with it.  Programmers may use the code provided in their own projects so long as acknowledgement is given.

  12. REQUIREMENTS
  13. pLayer requires System 7.1.  If you don't have System 7.1, you'll get a crash.

  15. HOW TO USE IT

  17. Just put it in your system folder and reboot.  pLayer and AppBar will find it automatically.

  19. LIMITS/BUGS/IDEAS FOR ENHANCEMENT

  21. These are thoughts I've had about possible changes to pLayer.  They may, or may not, be changed in the future.

  23. (1)  We're still not perfect on getting all clicks, though we are better than without TSMHelper.   While we now seem to get all clicks, sometimes we don't STAY in dragging routines, plus sometimes the clicks both get handled by us AND passed through to the layer below.
